Having someone in a wheelchair, is hard enough, if you do, stay away from this airport. Extra long waiting area. When you do finely get someone if you don't know Spanish it is very hard to communicate, they don't understand you and its hard to understand them. I'll be flying out of Fort Lauderdale, in the United States next time. A airport a lot more user friendly.
This airport is Hughes. Bring good walking
Not bad, not bad at all. Public transport available, comfortable airtrain, though the check-in counters do not always match well with the gates. Food: unlike EWR C there's plenty of choice for single-digit dollars at a reasonable quality/quantity. For transfer this airport is less suitable as it has no moving walkways onto the piers.
Poorly marked and laid out airport. Impossible to get to rental car return area. Terminals do not connect through to one another past security. Employees are unfriendly. Asthetically, the airport is dingy and has low ceilings. Our walk from rental car return to terminal G had a broken escalator, broken moving walkway and the only elevator to terminal G was also broken (with no option for stairs). Had to walk to terminal H to get elevator then back to G. I wouldn't normally review an airport but this one is REALLY bad I've been in dozens of airports and this is likely the worst one I've ever been to. EDIT....just walked to fill up my water at the bottle filler station. It was broken too, of course. Also, it's uncomfortably warm in waiting in terminal G.
Literally one of the worst airports. It’s was nasty, had a horrible stench, the actually people working there were some of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered in my life. I took American Airlines which was my fix mistake, their customer service was disgusting. Not helpful, rude, gave me major attitude. Lost my luggage to top it all off. Not one to leave bad reviews but this was completely awful. Avoid this airport!
shoes, u will be doing a lot of walking. Lots of restaurants and reasonable price shops. Friendly staff.
