As regards the ambience, it is cool, but not sure it qualifies as a "Museum" per se. I did enjoy seeing all the items hanging everywhere as well as some historic books from Cuba. Nice experience.
I went to an evening event here regarding Cuban journalism/freedom of speech. The food & bar seemed expensive for the actual product served.
We celebrated my father's 70th birthday at Cubaocho recently. It was FANTASTIC !!!! Ivan coordinated the entire event and he was an absolute pleasure to work with; I can't thank him enough. Nathalie mixed drinks at the bar and Barbara helped with the tapas and cake. It all went as planned. Great staff...Professional and very friendly. All of our guests loved the venue with its beautiful lamps and artwork. The Cuban band played for part of the evening. We danced the entire time and had a great time.
