Calvary is home for our family. We love this church. Wonderful, loving people. Solid, bible-based teaching. Amazing youth program. Calvary is not perfect but it is filled with people who love Jesus.
My whole family attends Calvary. I have been attending for a few years now. I go to the Youth Group every Friday night and never miss Sunday service. I even got baptized at Calvary a couple of years ago. I love this church because of the people. So many great leaders, good role models, good friends. The yearly youth conference "Encounter" is a can't-miss as is the youth summer camp. This is a church that teaches the Bible and loves Jesus.
I love my church. Calvary Kendall is full of wonderful people that welcome you with love and care. We attend every week and always enjoy the service. Our pastors are gifted with a heart for people and our city. They have a passion for sharing the Gospel and a talent for communicating Jesus' teachings. Our church is not perfect but I love this group of people regardless.
Wow. Well, we enjoyed the music. That's it. It was our first time here so I did NOT feel comfortable sending my children (1 yr and 3 yrs old) to the children's classes. They don't know the teachers, I don't know the teachers so no I did not feel safe about it. My babies don't go with people they don't know and I'm proud of that. Well, my one year olds babbling was not allowed in the auditorium. She wasn't even crying or screaming. She was babbling at which point we were asked to keep her quiet...we were asked to keep our baby girl quiet... A few minutes later my husband was asked to take her out of the auditorium. That was when we decided to just leave because they thought my one year old daughter was being disruptive. It's funny because the message was about family. I am typing this in disbelief and tears as I can't believe was just happened.
My home. Love feeling the Holy Spirit in Calvary Kendall. Love every single message taught in church. Love how welcomed you feel when you go to Calvary Kendall. And my son loves to be a part of the youth band and won't miss any youth night.
