We went grocery shopping here and the staff was so friendly and the facility is laid out to make things easy to find. Everything we purchased was fresh and reasonable priced. They have a separate room just for liquor.
I normally have a wonderful experience at Publix. This visit was very interesting and peculiar. The young lady at the deli counter seemed as though she did not want to be at work. I understand having a rough day but it shouldn't have been displayed to a customer. The service from her was lackluster and needs to be improved. Other than that my experience would have been wonderful as per norm.
Publix, you have higher standards than this
I came here basically for subs only because they’re so good. Out of maybe 10 visits I have to settle for something else. I leave because the 5 people in line takes them 30 minutes just to place my order. The time it takes to park and all is almost not worth it. I’ve seen (myself included) paying people leavethe line in frustration due to the wait time. This is ridiculous.
The place is okay to shop at, but almost every time we shop, we get cheated because they have one price at the grocery item and another in the register, and the price always end up being higher at the register. So we see something we want, we check the price and it seems good, and when we finally get to the register the price is higher. Sometimes we notice early enough, but other times we first discover it after we get home. SO frustrating. We started to shop at Price Choice down the street and they are even open 24/7.
Change management. Train these employees the right way. The publix way.
I found customer service agent Deedee to be very helpful, who shuttles between the liquor store and SuperMarket, at the cash counter Lisvet was very friendly and has great conversational skills, at the " Make your sandwich" corner Ainsline radiates a genuine smile and exhibits warmth towards her customers and has a helpful attitude.
So I was going to talk to the manager. I looked up at the manager photo. Turns out she was the one behind the counter making a sandwich for herself (I know this because she walked to the back with it). She was moving just as slow. That’s the problem they move at a turtles pace.
