Every year that I've come I've experienced a different issue. I've let it slide before but now I'm done. The first year my husband and I came the accountant suggested filing separately and I wanted to ask questions to clarify how that was legal and sought simple clarification. Dario (the only accountant in the practice) was obviously annoyed with my questioning and therefore I let it go. Strike one. This year, I arrived to my 11 am appointment on a Tuesday at 10:30 am. My husband and I were the only ones waiting and Dario was not in the office. My husband was told he would arrive at 12 pm. The employees then conversed with each other to say that Dario was at a cardiologist appointment with his mother and he would arrived by 12:30. Having noted that this was said to another employee and not the client says a lot about their care for their clients and lack of professionalism. Also the word "appointment" doesn't imply an emergency in their part but rather a planned event. Beyond that, we were given a run around and told that he would arrive at 12:30 pm. We were advised to leave and grab lunch and come back. Meanwhile by the time we left there were two other clients with later appointments waiting. We had our one year old with us and weren't expecting to have to wait over two hours when we already had an appointment. (Additional note: it's common knowledge when you go here any day that they usually make you wait an excessive amount of time even with an appointment- strike 2). Upon returning by 12:20 pm the accountant had yet to arrive. We were also told nothing - given no update from the receptionist upon walking in. By 12:30 I nicely told the receptionist I was leaving and cancelling my appointment because I felt the situation was unprofessional. She said nothing. No apology. No acknowledgment. Upon posting my review and this situation on Facebook, the company's response was again, not an apology, but to attack my character as a person. My complaint is simple: tell your clients the truth. Let them know what time you do expect to be in and ask them to either wait or reschedule. And don't attack their character when they call you out on your bad practices. Their responses on Facebook show their character and lack of understanding for what my complaint really is. Strike three- I'm out.
