Entire lack of compassion displayed by the staff member who assisted my family last month in finding where my grandfather was interred. My grandfather passed away two years ago, and this was the first opportunity I had to go to Miami where he was buried. The staff member did not give my family any privacy, but stood staring at us from a few feet away as we tried to have a moment together as a family, and he continually reminded us that the cemetary would be closing in half an hour. His attitude indicated that assisting us was a bother that he would rather not have to deal with. The staff member's insensitive behavior marred what would have been a time of closure for me and my family.
The deterioration of this cemetery is a disgrace. Broken tile, stained carpet, and no running water...it is disrespect of those buried here and a slap in the face to the families who placed their loved ones in the hands of this cemetery. I am horrified that any cemetery would operate like this.
The staff never returns phone calls. I called every day for a week and left my number. As of today, 3 weeks later, no one has called.

Completely terrible experience with Woodlawn. After funeral paid in full, Cemetary still has not provided the name plaque that were paid for. How disgraceful. The tomb is broken and still has not been fixed after family has made multiple requests. The office staff are rude and never return calls. The Cemetary grounds are not taken care of and all the plants are dying. Do not put your loved ones here. Horrible experience and lack of care. It makes me so sad my family members are laid to rest in such a horrible way. They deserve less than one star.
