Really surprising. A *vast* beach area that has yet to be (re)discovered by most people in Miami, with unique access to the bay and ocean, even with off road biking available at the end of the Key, with astonishing views of the southern tip of South Beach and much of nearby Fisher Island, where you can kayak to easily from this point. Not to be missed, even if a little desolate because so few people visit.
Love this beach, you can bring your dog. Great for families. Amazing running path. Just please pick up your trash.
Beautiful park & natural preserve! The history beach is inspirational.... I highly recommend that anyone visiting Miami, make it a point to visit this Beach/ Park. The Historic Vriginia Key Beach Park Trust has done a phenomenal job in restoring this historically significant beach.... in a region of many beaches, this truly stands alone.
This is a beautiful place to walk or bike around. There is a historic lighthouse here. If you have the guts to walk to the top it has amazing 360 views. There is a great beach that is much more relaxing and calm than south beach. My choice over SB any day. Plenty of walking trails. There's also a little seafood restaurant and cove where boats tie up if you can find it. Great for families or for a friendly BBQ or picnic. Spend an hour or make a day of it.
A serene beach to unwind after a stressful day. It doesn't crowded as well as noisy as South Beach. Entry fee is now $5.
