I would plan on staying here for at least an hour and a half to get the full experience. This was a busy day because of the Thanksgiving holiday, but it wasn't too crowded. We did have to park in the overflow lot across the street, but the walk back to the entrance is pretty short - and scenic!

This place is like a miniature, tropical Biltmore Estate. The house and the gardens are beautiful; we got some amazing photos - and it looked like a popular spot for professional wedding and quinceanera shoots. All the staff members were friendly and professional. We paid a little extra for the guided tour, and I think it was worth it - but it is about 45 minutes long and it only goes through the ground level of the house. You can explore the upstairs and the grounds on your own, which I recommend. The house sits on the edge of Biscayne Bay, so the views are gorgeous. Near the water and in the gardens, we saw a lot of wildlife - including iguanas and a wide variety of lizards.

I love Vizcaya. It is always so beautful. The artwork is incredible as is the entire estate. I always recommend Vizcaya to visiting family and friends. Its a must see, if you are in Miami for a few days - absolutely worth the visit. Oh, and the Deering story is interesting too!

I loved this place so much! My husband finally convinced me to take the drive down there and I'm so glad I did. My teenage boys enjoyed it too. Very family friendly.

This place took our breath away. We visited in November and the weather right off the water was perfect. Admission is $18/person and well worth it. You could spend all day here touring the house and grounds. Stay and grab lunch and look out at the water. The house contained so much history and elegance for being over 100 years old. They have everything beautifully displayed and carefully protected from light and humidity. The gardens are equally impressive and quite massive. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. This would also be a great place to take wedding, engagement, or senior pictures. So picturesque and right on the water!

Beautiful place! If you go by metro rail. They give you 2 Dollars discount in the entrance with your easy card. (Till December)
