Humble alternative campus, not overcrowded at all and they offer a plethora of student services. FIU South has been my home for the past 4 years but I frequent the bus from FIU BBC to main campus.
Beautiful campus. Finding parking can be a problem. Faculty and staff are very friendly and helpful. Education is very good. Food options are very limited - they only have Moe's Southwestern Grill, Grill Works, Subway, and Starbucks, and they all close early, so you don't have any dinner options if you have night classes. Beautiful swimming pool, beautiful view of Oleta River State Park, and opportunities to see wading birds.
Their Rope Field is just great. The experience was awesome and if anyone wants to go. Do it in groups. Makes the time even better.
Beautiful campus, its great being by the water, plus the sea breeze is amazing!
