The people at the consulate are awesome! They were all very helpful and informative! It's also a plus the the consulate is inside an iconic Miami Skyscraper
Well the treatment was really good but they actually couldn't do anything for me. I'm Cuban resident in Canada and I came to Miami for my birthday vacations and lost my PR card (residence card) they said they are not able to get any information from Canada, but you are the consulate of Canada in Miami? SO I HAD (not them) to call to NY and they sugest to fill up the application that will take 19 days... I had a melt down I'm pregnant and I have to be back for my appointments and my sister wedding. So the other solution it's take another 2 flights to the border and meet my husband there with the paper work from my landed emigrant form. I not trying to sneak in a country I don't belong I'm been leaving in Canada for 5 years. Why it's so hard for them to contact Canada government and get a ok paper that I can travel with back home. So hard I know it's some rules and regulations but shouldn't be so much trouble. Not even mentioned loosing my ticket and had to buy extra ones to get to the border. And who knows when I get there whats going to happen.
Great cafe in the lobby, super high tech elevators. I went to go to the Canadian Consulate and they were all very kind and helpful.
The staff here are incredibly pleasant, friendly and very helpful! I had my passport stolen and had a same day flight - they were able to get me my emergency passport back to Canada within 2 hours! Thank you!
