bonjour: I want to thank the nice people at the France consulate in Miami for assisting me with my visa application. Great Team and very efficient in getting my visa in a timely manner.
As a French citizen and living in Miami for almost two decades, I am very disappointed about the services that the Consulate offer. In fact, they are not offering any service for their citizens, even if you have an emergency. Moreover, don't show up there because they will send you back home and tell you to do all your request online. There is no customer service friendly and I noticed that the staff is limited. C la raison pour laquelle j'aime vivre aux Etats Unis!
My mother had to get a Schengen Visa for our Europe trip. Although it stated on my mom's appointment that only the person with appointment would be allowed into the consulate, the security guard was nice enough to let me go in with her as interpreter because my mother was not so fluent in English. Overall process was smooth and the staff reviewing her application was extremely helpful. Also, their processing time is super fast. We were there last Friday and we received the passport with the visa via mail on Thursday.

Top notch in & out service - a la Gauloise. Needed documents notarized for french matters and came to the consulate to process all without a hitch. Now, if only it weren't 500 miles away...
