Was scared reading the reviews about the long wait times but we didn't have to wait even a minute in line. Getting to the rental center from the airport involves getting on multiple escalators /elevators and riding the MIA mover system tram all of which took about 30 minutes (with a toddler) but once we got there , we were taken care of immediately. Pleasant staff. Also, we had about 8 cars to choose from. One of which was an almost brand new one with less than 500 miles on it. We were lucky probably :)
I have used the Miami AIRPORT Hertz several times. Some better than others. This experience was the best I've had since using them.
They ripped off my mom that just had a major surgery. The guy at the counter said get whatever car you want"after we reserved the cheapest one". Then they brought out a nice SUV as if they were giving us a deal... then after the trip we find out they were tricking us to pay full price. Shame on then!
The lady downstairs was really nice though... I think it's the guy upstairs fault. Also customer service lady was the most awful human being I've ever had to speak to. My mom would mention I just had a major surgery and the lady would interior her as if she said nothing. This is purely an example of when protocol proceeds compassion. Effing bicnt
I truly believe Hertz has extended their brand way above the rest. Excellent service and may I add integrity on business. Not too much of that around these days.
Provided my flight info and yet my car wasn't ready because they said I was late. Found that interesting since my flight was on time and I went right to the pickup location once I got my luggage. Car wasn't cleaned and didn't have the easy pass.
